Sweet Shop from Beth

Hi guys, Beth here today, and I want to show you my little Sweet Shop, the MDF shop is from the Imagine If... Patisserie Kit.

I started out with gesso on all the pieces, sealing the mdf and giving me a white surface. I then glued the shop together (except for the roof), and used the Bricks Pattern Stencil with modeling paste on all sides, giving a rustic brick look. I then painted the whole thing white.

The window frames, door and roof were painted pink, and the awning has pink and white stripes. I used small alphabet letters from Imagine If... and painted them red to stand out on the striped awning.

Next I needed some jars of sweets, and the mini glass bottles from PaperVine were perfect.  I filled these with a mix of different beads, all looking like sweets. I glued all the filled jars onto the shelves in the shop, fitted the roof, and we were finished.

This little shop looks so cute sitting on my shelf! There are so many cute ideas for this little shop, I might even need to make a row of different shops...!

Thanks for checking in!  Beth
