Today I am going to share with you my first tag that I have been working on. I watched Tim Holtz tag for October demo, and decided to have a go, but I was also playing with resin and making my own resin moulds and pieces, so I decided that they would go on to the tags as well. (Click on Tim Holtz name above to go and have a look at what he did).
This piece has torn paper, paints, distress inks, sizzix die dress, a resin flower that I made and painted with alcohol inks, a stamped image, and I used glossy accents on the clock to make it shine. A few other pieces like flowers, and leaves and a couple of chipboard swirls.
Now is a great time to be starting to get some tags made for christmas, or it is a chance to try new techniques. If you write on the back what technique you used and products, you can then store them in a techniques box, and then when you are looking for a reminder you can pull out the box, and go through it and there is all the information you need.
I hope you enjoyed this. All the best and thanks for reading by blog. I appreciate it is hard to get a chance to read everything that is going on in the world and I am grateful that you have chosen to read my blog.
