Hi Everyone! Daylight savings in upon us, and summer is fast approaching.  I'm just kidding.... summer is hidden behind a rain cloud somewhere, throwing a big sulk about something, probably because I keep saying I want snow for Christmas!  Speaking of which, the man I give so much stick to, has got himself into the good books big time!!! In the form of a large collectible Christmas Tower, with clock and moving train and lights!!! Sooooo very happy, and so excited, I wanted to go and get all my Christmas goodies out and put it all up.  But we settled on just leaving the new decoration out, lights on, but I did turn the ho-ho-ho Merry Christmas Singing Santa's sound off.... That could have been a little painful for three and half months. WELLINGTON PAPER ARTS We are off again soon, Wellington Paper arts show is our next and last show for the year.  We are not teaching at Paperarts this year, however the night before we are teaching at Scrappin patch, see below for details.  We have lots of new kits and products being released in time for the show, and I cannot wait to catch up with you if you are coming, and having pancakes for breakfast at a local bakery there. MOVING SHOPS! We come back and shift shops a week later, so I have made the decision NOT to unpack the stock, so if you come into the shop that week before labour weekend, everything will be in boxes.  We will know where everything is, actually we probably wont, but we will have a rough idea or be really good at guessing. After labour weekend we will hope to open on the Tuesday. C4 Then we have C4, our last major class before the end of the year, as we have massive amounts of work to do before the big scrapbooking buffet class begins 2018.   If you are booked in for this you should have received an email by today about the event  - if not please ring us so we can get your email address checked! CHIPBOARD Alysha has been loading our chipboard on line, we had so much stock not loaded that after three days she isn't even a quarter of the way through her list, but by the end of the year, we hope to have all the product loaded. I think really she just needs to start work earlier (6am seems good) and finish a little later (8pm I reckon), but I mention that, and she mentions payrise....so we will just have to be a patient a little longer. MATT ART BOARD We have some brand new laser cutting material in stock which we are cutting some of our chipboard designs from instead, and the best part about it is that its pre-coloured so when you buy the design you can stick it straight on your project or page! We have a couple of the new designs below and more will be loaded as Aly can get to it! We love them and hope you do too! Shop Closed Dates Due to the number of shows and events coming up we thought we would let you know the dates and times we are closed over the rest of the year. OCTOBER Friday 13th - Closed as Jo & Aly are in Wellington for PaperArts! Monday 16th - Friday 20th - We are open but stock will be in boxes from the show and we are not unpacking as as we are moving the following weekend!!! Saturday 21st - Monday 23rd  - WE MOVE SHOP!!!! Moving to 179 Thames Street, almost across the road! (Next to the Heathcoate's Building, currently the LJ Hooker Office.) Tuesday 24th - New shop opens ...all going well! (Please ring before trying to visit in case we are not open!) NOVEMBER Friday 10th November - Closed from 2pm to prepare for C4 Saturday 11th - We have C4!!! That's it for now!
