Hi all,
August has sneaked up on me, and we haven't had time to send the newsletter out. I have been away teaching in Auckland at Take time out Retrea the first weekend of the month. It was a wonderful location to teach in, though we were all tempted to go and sit on the beach with a coffee and forget the class. Although I did get a text from my youngest child asking why the shop had a sign on the front door saying "We are closed, gone shopping while the boss is away." Hmm like I was going to fall for that trick by Aly and Pauline...
We have been busy designing classes, for C4, which is coming up in November, as well as our usual scrapbooking classes and monthly classes. On top of designing new kits and chipboard, and a new piece for our Christmas village. In saying that we haven't finished the kits, as we have been waiting, waiting, waiting on product.
SCRAPBOOKING CLASSES
If you have been thinking out doing some scrapbooking, we have a couple of spots opened up, either Wednesday morning 10am - 12pm, or Thursday night 6pm - 8pm, everything is supplied for $25.00, all your paper, product and embellishments. If you are a beginner and you are worried, don't be - we are all here to help you. You need to commit to a full term and if you are away one week you need to take the kit as we have to order stock in for the classes.
ART THERAPY GROUP
We are also opening up space in our Art Therapy group, this is the first time I have advertised this class, which I have run for over 6 years. It is every Thursday afternoon, from 1pm- 3pm. It is a class of mixed activities. Sometimes you will be doing art, sometimes cards, sometimes.... well you get the idea. It is about trying new things, and seeing how you go. We show you techniques and tricks, but you also get to decide how to do things. Please phone me to discuss this class. 078897838. Cheryl is the tutor, she is taking over from me, so that I can focus on other things. The cost of this class is $10.00 but sometimes you need to bring things from home and there can be optional things available for purchase which can add to the project if you want.
BIG NEWS
Finally we have big news... your not going to believe it. BUT WE ARE SHIFTING AGAIN!!!!!!Trust me I know. But we have out grown our space, and we just cannot continue to grow where we are. So we have taken over the lease of another store in town, and we will advise that location a bit closer to the time, so as not to confuse you as we are not moving till October, after Paper arts. In the meantime we are tidying up shelves, stands and getting really tough with things, lol, we are crafter's... we don't get rid of stuff.
20 PAGES CLASS 2018
WOW the Morrinsville scrapbooking buffet class in March is sold out!!!!, we are taking wait list names, if you are still interested. Every other location still has some spaces, although some are getting quite full. So be quick if you do want to come. In October we will lock in the numbers and you will be committed to coming to the class as we have to order in large amounts of stock for these classes we can't accept any cancellations after October unless we or you can find someone to take your spot.
