Hi all I hope you are all enjoying this weather, sometimes it is like the middle of summer, and the next day it is Pea soup fog.  I sat outside the other morning for about an hour doing paper work, it was so lovely, and the next minute the clouds came in and well it was back inside.  I may have an empty house (with the extended family all moving out) but it seems that doesn't mean the food bill goes down at all.  Never having had boys I was surprised when my friend Danyon, called round and says "Jo, should I go and pre heat the oven for you?" Pre heat the oven? I say confused.  "Oh aren't you baking me sausage rolls this week? ....Oh and I really liked those cupcakes last week..." he replies with a grin.  Just as well I have the time to bake aye?   I must admit cooking is a nice change from packing kits for Senz, which I am pleased are all done! - We had a plan, things that had to be done! Check. - Things that we should get done.  Check - Things that I would like to get done.  Check - Things we don't stand a chance of getting done.... your right check, we are on to them.   Whew, Don't ask how, but long long hours and we are on schedule.  We have even managed to draw a plan of the stand, and its not even the day before. Miracles do happen now and again, and that is all with a machine out of action for a month.!!! We are looking forward to catching up with you if you go to Senz, no purple hair this year, but the lipstick has been purchased, lol.  Come and say hi,  if we are your way over the next few months at various locations - see a full list at the bottom of the newsletter of upcoming events, their locations and times the shop is closed. July 22nd - Prima Princess Mixed MediaBook Cover Class 10am - 12pm $40 Utilise the lovely new Prima Princesses Printed Watercolour sheets (Choose a lady of your choice from the pad) as a base, then decorate and build her up in a mixed media style all on the cover of a heavy duty blank book (maybe an art  journal) or for photos or a diary. Use colourblast sprays, watercolour paints, embossing paste, buttons, flowers and much more to create gorgeous one of a kind designs! Perfect for beginners to mixed media without getting too messy or it being too scary! Or great for those who want a fun, pretty and creative class to do! AUGUST 12th - Work on a Kit Day!! 9am - 12pm (Cost depends on the kit you choose) Buy one of our many kits in store on the day - then work on it here with Aly available to assist you. Bring along a friend (you can choose different projects) and gossip and chat together working on your projects knowing you have assistance if you need it!  You could make a Christmas House or Church, the Sweet Treats Patisserie, Garden or Coffee House, Tag Art, Memory box, Christmas sleigh or tree, Christmas or Beach Book or any other kit we have in stock on the day! If you want to do a kit you already have brought from us in the past but never got around to doing then the cost for your table space is $10. AUGUST 19th - Mixed Media and Painting Canvas Class  10am - 2pm $70 Create an amazing, humongous, round mixed media canvas - play with embossing paste, sprays, stencils, texture techniques and much more - all in colours of your own choice to create a one of a kind design for yourself or for someone else! You get to keep the stencil and some embossing paste after the class!  Not to mention an awesome piece of art.   AUGUST 26th - 9 Pages Scrapbooking Class 9am - 3pm $80 Create 9 fabulous 12x12 scrapbooking pages all in just one busy creative day! SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER  Classes to be confirmed but will include a 9 pages scrapbooking day for both months and lots of other fun classes!
