Hi everyone, hope you are all having a fantastic day, and enjoying this cooler weather.  I hope you all managed to get through the bad weather without any damage, some areas definitely had their fair share, we had quite a few people not manage to get to classes due to flooding and high winds.  One friend went to check on his boat at 1am, and found it had a foot of water in it, so had to sit up in that wind and rain trying to drain it with a pump, said it was a long and stressful night. The years routine is well and truly underway.  We have our classes sorted for Senz, Take time out with Trina's retreat is underway, and we have been designing and packing kits as fast as we can.  We have listened to what everyone was asking for have remade some of the popular projects that we keep getting asked for.  This week we have re released the Church as a full kit, and the concertina houses (red and green (traditional) or blue and purple (Sam's choice of colour), and we have released the fairy door as a blank kit, and another new coaster art board.    See links and pictures. We have released the date for C4 - Colour, candy and creative choas, this is based on the extremely successful class we ran last year, this has been released now so you pre book and put in your calendar.  There will be 10 projects, we have not even started designing, but if you enjoyed last years class you will know that it is totally worth it, lunch, morning tea, afternoon tea and drinks all supplied.  You will need your scissors and glue and tape, that is it.  We supply everything else.  We are only taking 50 people at this stage, and last year we sold out, so please book your space and pay your deposit.  There is a link to the website, where you can pay your deposit of $10.00.  The total cost is $130.00 less your $10.00 deposit, the balance is due on the day.  Please we ask for a direct credit for this, when paying don't pay the freight bill, which will automatically charge. Senz tickets have gone on sale, and we will be selling them in store again this year. A reminder about opening hours, we do NOT open on a Saturday, so if you are coming through and you want to visit, let us know and we will open for you.  We are usually at work from 7am and finish about 6 to 6.30pm, contact us if you would like to come outside of our normal business hours, it is just that as we are manufacturing we sometimes make a mess and make some noise.     C4 IS BACK for 2017! This year we have another fantastic 10 projects in the works for you and it will be more CRAZY, COLOURFUL and CHAOTIC than last year! Hi everyone, and finally summer is throwing her weight around! The tomatoes need constant watering, and passionfruit.. we have had a bumper crop!  I also was down the bottom of the section and found a very overgrown grape plant, and oh wow, were they something else. This last two weeks have seen us really hitting the preparation of our kits and classes for the shows coming up, this has been a really interesting time, as Sam has been my right hand painter, gluer and general dogsbody, which has been interesting. Not surprisingly, she argues about everything I want her to do! Which in some cases has actually been great for the design... when you have been doing something for a while, you forget that there are others ways of doing things. (I also told her off for using her phone in work hours, turns out she was looking up the french words for our new coffee house, which is shown below, and not actually on the phone. Whoops! Mums aye!) Aly finished her Print and Management diploma last year, so she is off to Auckland to receive her graduation certificate in a couple of weeks, so congratulations to her. She is also up for an award for the Top Diploma Student for her year so good luck for that too!! NEW RELEASES We have been waiting on new releases from the suppliers, and just starting to see some of the product coming out, yay!  Hope to have these instore soon. If there is anything that you would like please just ask, I don't want to bombard you with emails about pre-orders, but if you do like the look of something I can tell you if it is on order already, or if not I can tell you who else might have it.
